Snowboarder Magazine is mostly filled with bro’ed out articles aimed at pot-smoking thirteen year olds. So it’s nice to see that they don’t change the formula for Snowboardermag.com. Still, the Battle Wounds section is worth checking out for the bile inducing photos of riders giving themselves the smack-down on the mountain.

All the photos come with a hilarious story that covers 1) the sick trick that that the rider was lying down when said injury occured, 2) a gory description of the accident so you know that it hurt really, really, really bad, 3) and how the rider sacked up for another day of riding because what the hell do doctors know about injuries?

Okay Tim Dyna, how tough are you?

“The doctors in the ER sewed that thing up nice and tight, and 4 hours later I was back in the ER with elephantitus of the leg. Some lucky doctor got to squeeze ounces of “raspberry jam” out through the a hole they made and I got to sport this sweet drain tube the next day as I enjoyed another nice day of riding.”

Awesome.
