ROCKIES
- Utah Quickstart Program: Fly into Utah, get a free lift ticket for that day at the Canyons, Park City, or Deer Valley.
- Vail Resorts Feels the Pinch: Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Beaver Creek have rolled their multi-day tickets back to last year’s prices. Now if they could only roll them back to 1999 prices…
- Buy a Ticket, Get a Free Room: We’ve heard of free tickets when you purchase lodging, but Sipapu in New Mexico is the only one flipping the trend. Buy a $39 ticket and get a free room in their motel.
- Spring-Only Pass at Araphoe: Ski the rest of the season at A-Basin for $209. It also includes 5 days at Bear Valley, 1 day at Silverton, and you can apply the cost of one A-Basin ticket to the price. Aren’t these guys open until July?
- Fill up at Phillips 66 and Shell: The Snow Junkies have been using this deal all winter. 11 resorts in Idaho and Wyoming that have 2 for 1 deals all through March.
- Or Fill up at Maverik: Pick up a Maverik Adventure rewards card and you can ski at Brighton on Thursdays for $29 from 12:30pm to 9:00pm.
- Or Fill up at Chevron: 10 gallons of gas gets you a voucher to Bogus Basin, which allows up to 4 people to get $10 lift tickets, $10 rentals, and $10 lessons every night in March.
- Big Savings at Targhee: First Deal: A $199 five week pass good until the end of the season. Second Deal: Carpool on Sundays and everyone gets $10 dollars off a ticket. Third Deal: Click here for their 2 for 1 special days. Fourth Deal: See #5 on this list.
- Montana Midweek: The little mountains in Montana have big savings. Maverick rocks $19 tickets on Thursdays and Fridays. $28 tickets at Great Divide on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Blacktail for $25 on Thursdays.
- Powder Thursdays: Got a season pass from any ski area in the country? Head over to Silver Mountain, ID for $10 tickets.
WEST COAST
- Free Ski Week Starts: Starting March 30th, you can get FREE lift tickets at 49 Degrees North,WA. Free lift tickets for a week!
- Free Ticket on Your Birthday: California leads the pack with the most resorts (that would be 6) that let you ski or ride free on your birthday.
- More Free Tickets: Bring four cans of food on 3/20 and get a free ticket to Mt. Hood Skibowl.
- Homewood $29 Days for $29: Here are the dates for March: 3/2, 3/3, 3/10, 3/11. And don’t forget about skiing for schools on 3/15 when you can get a $25 ticket.
- West Coast Twofer Deals: We dug up 15 resorts on the West Coast that have a weekly 2 for 1.
- SAC March Days: There’s two more chances to get a cheap ticket and give money to a worthy cause. $35 for a ticket at Sugar Bowl on 3/22 or Alpine Meadows on 3/29.
- Lake Tahoe Ski Hill with the Most Deals: Let’s give a round of applause to Mt. Rose hooking you up. Twofer Tuesday, $29 on Ladies Day, three day weekend for $128, and $37 tickets for pass holders from other resorts.
- Costco Deals: These change weekly, but right now there are specials on tickets to Mt. Hood Meadows and Kirkwood.
- Oregon Midweek: Ski Anthony Lakes is ½ price every Thursday. $19 at Hoodoo on Tightwad Tuesday. And Mt. Bachelor has $29 midweek tickets.
- Combo Deal at Ski Bluewood: On Wednesdays, bring six empty Pepsi product cans or bottle tops and get a twofer. Leave between 3pm and 4:30pm and receive a Fuel Buck coupon good for $2.00 off gas at Shell. Fill up at local Shell, get voucher, and return on Thursday for another 2 for 1 day.
NEW ENGLAND
- Family Fridays at Bromley: Combine Bromley’s $39 midweek/non-holiday ticket with Bromley’s fantastic Family Friday deal, where each paying adult pays just $12 per kid for up to three kids, the savings positively snowballs. On every March Friday, mom or dad can take their two kids and one of their friends for a whole day of skiing or riding for the outrageous price of $75! A family of four skis for just $102!
- The Point Button: Pick up this button at local stores and get ½ price deals during March at the following 5 mountains: 3/6 Sugarbush, 3/13 Bolton, 3/20 Killington, 3/22 Pico, 3/27 Jay Peak.
- New England Twofer: 14 resorts that offer 2 for 1 lift tickets.
- Carpool Article: Shawnee Peak, Ragged, Magic Mountain, and Mt. Abram are four New England mountains that give huge savings when you load up a car.
- St. Patrick’s Day Specials: $17 ticket at Waterville Valley and $17 ticket at Mad River Glen, or a $17 twilight ticket at Jiminy Peak.
- Deals at Killington: We found some great March deals at one of the most expenseive resorts in New England. Killington’s Birthday Weekend gets you a $100 weekend ticket for 3/21 and 3/22. There’s the new Dealgrabber service. And you can get a half price day on 3/20 (see number x) with the Point Button.
- Third Saturday in March: There are hardly any deals on Saturdays…except in March. You’ve got your choice of a $20 ticket at Butternut for dressing retro, a $39 ticket at Bromley for Spring Fling or a free ticket at Cranmore.
- Last Saturday in March: New England knows how to party. There’s a $20 ticket at Butternut for the Parrot Head Festival or a $35 ticket at Magic Mountain’s Retro Day.
- Go Shopping at Big Y: When you stock up on groceries, pick up one of their cards. Flashing it gets you deals at 9 ski areas in New England.
- Sunday Afternoons: Have the slopes all to yourself. New England has 8 areas with discounted riding on Sunday.
MID-ATLANTIC
- Spring Skiing in North Carolina: Sugar Mountain kicks into March Madness on 3/9 with 25% off tickets and rentals. Beech gets into the spirit with their Spring Fever Blowout, featuring $20 full day and $10 half day tickets.
- Buy A Season Pass Already: We’ve uncovered 3 Mid-Atlantic resorts offering a steeply discounted pass for next year. Why do you care? Because you can use it for the remainder of this season. There’s more to come, but here’s the first round: Camelback, Mountain Creek, and Swain Mountain.
- Deals for Ladies: For all you ladies, here are 8 Mid-Atlantic deals for your enjoyment.
- Deals for Men: We didn’t forget about the fellas. Shawnee Mountain, McCauley, Blue Mountain, Holiday, and Bear Creek all have a special day for men. Now, stop complaining.
- Belleayre Deals: Belleayre takes time to appreciate their customers on 3/13 with a $20 ticket. Or get a free ticket if your birthday is in March, October, or November.
- Pennsylvania Party People: On 3/22, dress up in a costume and get a FREE ticket at Shawnee Mountain or a $9.93 ticket at Jack Frost at the annual Cardboard Classic.
- Snow Days Card: For ten dollars you get 2 for 1 tickets at Snow Ridge, Song, Magic Mountain, Swain, Platekill, and Toggenburg.
- Discount Days: Platekill in New York has a $15 day lined up on 3/6 for the first 100 skiers/riders, and a $10 local ticket on 3/28.
- Why Not Wednesday: Bring in an empty Coke product and get a $37 ticket at Gore or Whiteface.
- College Days: Here’s a smart deal for you kids in school: $30 Massanutten, $29 at Shawnee, ½ off at Ski Sawmill, $15 day at Ski Denton, $21 at Wisp. Just got to have a college ID.
MIDWEST
- Wisconsin Nights: Try hitting the mountain at night. Nordic Mountain, Granite Peak, Mt. Lacrosse, Tyrol Basin, and Sunburst all have evening specials throughout the week.
- Cheapest Snowcat Skiing in the US: Go snowcat skiing for $20 at Porcupine Mountain. You have to get a daily lift ticket – don’t worry they’ve got a $45 twofer every day that they’re open.
- Ski Every Hill in Michigan: The White Gold Card is only $109. It’s good for one free ticket at every ski area in Michigan. That’s 29 resorts.
- Wisconsin Gold Card: Not to be outdone by Michigan, Wisconsin has an $80 coupon book with a free ticket to ten ski areas.
- Party at Nordic Mountain: $10 tickets on 3/1 for Customer Appreciation Day. $5 off 3/6-3/8 for Hawaiian Weekend, and $17 tickets on 3/15-3/17 for St. Patrick’s Day
- Spirit Mountain: We are loving all the early season pass sales. Ski the rest of the season for $179…and all the 09/10 season.
- Tuesdays: The best day of the week for cheap tickets is no exception in the Midwest. Ladies/men specials, college deals, 1/2 off tickets, and cheap nights make Tuesdays worth calling in sick to work .
- Crazy 8s Night: It’s the last Crazy 8 of the season at Buena Vista, MN. On 3/5 you can get an $8 night ticket, $8 ski rental, $8 tubing, and an $18 snowboard rental
- Spring Break: It’s a good time to be in college during the week of 3/9 – 3/13. Mt. Lacrosse, Giants Ridge, Norway, Andes Towers, Kato are just a few of the ares that want you to spend vacation on their slopes.
- Brule Bash: Big old party at Ski Brule means half price tickets all weekend on 3/21 and 3/22 when you wear a costume.
