Oh, it’s that time of year again when the industry cranks all that beautiful new equipment. How about that chill when you flip through images of shiny new skis? That’s because new skis are sexy. They’ve never been touched. The graphics haven’t been shredded off. Edges are factory sharp and core shots live in the future.
You don’t even register those insane $800 price tags because in your mind, you’re already knocking 50% off as long as your dirtbag roomie can you hook you up with the shop deal. And $400 is still a lot of scratch, but you’ve got some time because the snow hasn’t even started to fly yet.
