Here’s a cool new GPS setup from a company called Flaik. It’s a real time tracking system that can be used to see everywhere you went on the mountain as well as vertical feet, distance, and average speed.

Applications include strapping it onto ski school kids so they don’t ever get lost. Adults can record their day around the ski resort, then review the stats online at Flaik’s website. They’re even being used for on-mountain GPS events like the Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle.

It’s only being used a hand full of mountains but they’re big names like Copper, Whistler, and Smuggler’s Notch. Check the site to see the full lineup.
