Snowcat Skiing/Riding at Colorado Ski Areas

The Rockies of Colorado is home to loads of powdercat outfits, but in the last five years or so, snowcat accessed terrain at ski areas has really taken off. Here are four of them to get you excited with everything from single ride inbounds terrain to all day backcountry adventures.

Copper Mountain
Cost: Free!
Running Times: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00pm
Access: Tucker Mountain.

Cost: $5
Running Times: 10:30 am – 1:30 pm

Monarch Mountain
Cost: $275
Running Times: All day throughout the season. Check the calendar.
Access: 900 acres of backcountry just ouside Monarch ski boundaries.
