Deserts Never Snow — Unless It’s This Year

The wacky weather of the 2012 winter continues with snow flurries in the Sahara Desert. Meanwhile, we’re still hitting rocks out here in Montana, and we’re supposedly one of the higher snowpack areas. It’s starting to feel like the scenes in the Day After Tomorrow.

On a weird side note, I found this photo on the Tataouine Tourism website which is the place where they filmed Star Wars.
