The Snow Junkies – Best Ski Town in America: Round #1

Best Ski Town in America: Round #1

Chief Snow Junkie November 9, 2012 0

It’s impossible to pick the best the best ski town in America, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a hell of good time arguing about it. Powder Magazine has opened up voting in their Ski Town Throwdown. It’s a bracket style system pitting the best of the ski towns against each in a winner take all title.

Happy to see that my hometown mountains Mad River & Sugarbush easily took down yawnsville Ogden. Although to be fair Ogden is number one in our hearts when it comes to ski town cabarets.

Steamboat Springs, where I lived for years had a tough fight against Bellingham while Bozeman (yeah, I move around a lot) easily coasted past Marquette. The only former home of mine that didn’t make the second recond was Summit County which is understandable as they were up against Telluride.

Some epic battles are coming up next. Click through to here to vote on the Ski Town Throwdown.
