The mountain offers 133 trails and glades to choose from over 1,410 Boundary-to-Boundary acres open to the public. With a 2,820′ vertical drop, Sugarloaf also stands out as one of the biggest ski mountains in North America. A full-service alpine village at the base of the resort offers slopeside lodging options ranging from family-friendly ski-in, ski-out condominiums to luxurious hotel rooms and suites. Near the entrance to the resort, guests will find the Antigravity Complex, offering a climbing wall, aerial-training trampolines, a full weight and fitness center and indoor skate park and skate bowl.

Sugarloaf is Maine’s mountain and we’re proving it by offering FREE lift tickets and rentals for local residents all week long from the following towns: Carrabassett Valley, Farmington, Freeman, Kingfield, New Portland, New Vineyard, Phillips, Rangeley, Stratton, Eustis, and Strong. Valid ID required as proof of residency.
- Maine Ski Day presented by The Bank of Maine 12/11/11
Sugarloaf has proudly partnered with The Bank of Maine to offer a day of skiing and learning to all Maine residents. The Maine Ski Day, on December 11, will give Maine residents access to discounted tickets, rentals and learn to ski or ride packages. Just show proof of Maine residency at the ticket window and receive a $29 ticket, $20 rental or a $39 learn to ski or ride package (includes ticket, equipment rental and lesson (lesson for ages 7+)). It’s winter in Maine – get out and enjoy it!
