We’ve been seeing lots of insane deals for season passes, but this one from Mt. Baldy in California is operating on a whole different level. The Chamber of Commerce is offering — get ready for it– FREE season passes for the 2009/2010 season.
That’s crazy talk, right? Not according to the chamber’s website which says: “As part of a special promotion we are giving these passes away FREE on a first come, first served basis. Save hundreds of dollars over the season by skiing or snowboarding for free. This unprecedented offer will expire at the discretion of the Ski Area, when we run out of passes, or when we open for skiing, whichever comes first.”
There’s a few catches. First is a $49 activation fee, which is still loads cheaper than the $389 season pass price tag. This fee gets you a virtual season pass which allows you to make online reservations which are subject to availability. There will be 1,000 tickets for Monday through Friday, and 500 on the weekend.
Even with these limitations, this is one of the best deals we’ve ever come across. Sounds too good to be true? Call Mt Baldy Ski Area at 909-982-0800 and make sure you mention the special Mt Baldy Chamber of Commerce offer.
